Political unrest affects tourism in Bangkok
Ms Pranee Satayaprakop, Director-General for Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), says that a drop in turnover of 10% must be taken into account if peace is not returned to Bangkok within a month.
Anti-government rally spreads across the capital
The big rally on Ratchadamnoen Avenue spread to thirteen places in Bangkok on Monday. The Ministries of Finance and Foreign Affairs and the Public Relations Department are occupied, prompting the government last night to extend the special emergency law, which was in effect in three districts, to the entire city.
Protests in Bangkok turn grimmer: German journalist mistreated
The demonstrations in Bangkok are getting a bit grimmer. A number of skirmishes with riot police are reported. A German journalist was also reportedly attacked in the Dusit district.
Thai protesters occupy government buildings (video)

Bangkok is filling up with protesters – a photo impression
Ratchadamnoen Avenue and surrounding streets have been thronged with anti-government protesters this afternoon: 100.000 according to police, but organizers estimate 440.000. Meanwhile, red shirts went to the Rajamangala stadium. Incidents have not occurred so far.
2500 monks pray at the Royal Plaza for peace and unity
Will the final reckoning take place today with the 'Thaksin regime', as the anti-government groups call the current government? The three groups, who have previously held separate rallies on Ratchadamnoen Avenue, have joined forces and hope to mobilize 1 million people.
Protesters threaten to cut off water and electricity
Cutting off electricity and water to government offices and the Prime Minister's residence may be the next step in the protest against the Yingluck government. Sunday is 'major battle day' and Monday the demonstrators will march through Bangkok in twelve groups.
