The Ubon Ratchathani Candle Festival, an important Thai tradition, attracted more than 100.000 visitors this year. From July 17 to 23, tourists enjoyed beautiful candle parades, traditional performances and craft demonstrations. The festival, which has been running for 123 years, was a huge success, generating an estimated 800 million baht. Other provinces also celebrated similar events.
