Mae Hong Son welcomes visitors for the Bua Tong Festival at Doi Mae U Kho, where the blooming of Mexican sunflowers kicks off the tourist season. This natural spectacle, which starts on November 11, transforms the mountain slopes into a sea of gold and attracts thousands of visitors every year.
