Reader question: Long distance relationship in times of corona?
As the title says, how do you deal with a long distance relationship now in times of Corona? I haven't seen my girlfriend since February 2020. I already know this will be for the whole year. And deep down I suspect that it won't work out in 2021 either. I hope I'm wrong, but I fear that for most of us, we won't see our girlfriends / wives for a very long time. If the relationship with me was not so deep and advanced, it would probably have ended long ago, since there is no longer any future perspective.

I regularly read on this blog the stories about people with (only) an AOW who live together in Thailand or are married to a Thai(se). What have they arranged for their partner in the event of their death? After all, an AOW is personal and cannot be inherited or transferred.
