The Dutch Bridge Club Pattaya was founded in 2003 by a number of bridge enthusiasts. Since then the club has grown steadily. We are still very active with bridge three times a week. Day-to-day affairs are arranged by the bridge committee.

Last night I saw a program called De Ambassade on Veronica. There, all members of a bridge club in Thailand were arrested and put in jail for a night because they were in possession of more than 120 playing cards or allegedly played for money.

Does anyone know how the elderly bridge club fared in Pattaya? They were jointly arrested there and charged with illegal gambling. It was of course too crazy for words and it made the foreign press.
