Bangkok, Thailand's bustling capital, is known for its lively streets, rich culture and impressive architecture. But the city is also undergoing a green transformation, with new parks popping up in the urban landscape.
Benjakitti park, a green lung in Bangkok
Many people will know the Lumphini park located at Silom road. Less well known is the Benjakitti park with an immensely large landscaped pond of no less than 800 meters long and 200 meters wide.
Benjakitti Park is undergoing major renovation and will become the new Bangkok Central Forest. This 'Amazing New Thailand Project' is going to turn this modest but beautiful park into something spectacular not to be missed next time you are in Bangkok.
