Can my Thai partner use the Belgium/Germany route?
My Thai girlfriend (44) and I (51 years old) are currently in a long-distance relationship. In the long term it is obvious that we will live together in the Netherlands.
Thailand question: Has the Belgium route become stricter?
I have a question about the Belgium route. I have been living in Belgium for a while and thought it would be easy to invite my Thai girlfriend. But as it turns out, you must have been in a relationship for at least a year and have met each other twice.
I am a Dutchman and live with a Thai, together for more than 10 years. We want to move to the Netherlands, but it was recommended to do this via the Belgium route. I have been deregistered from the Netherlands for over 10 years.
I live and work in the Netherlands and have the Belgian nationality. My Thai girlfriend still lives in Thailand, but she would like to come and live with me in the Netherlands, so I have to apply for an MVV for her. She is already taking an integration course and will take the exam in Bangkok.
Question about Thai partner to the Netherlands: Via the Belgium route or Germany route?
I have been talking to my Thai girlfriend from Bangkok for some time now. This year I want to go on holiday with her for a period of 3 to 4 weeks. After my stay I want to take her to the Netherlands for a maximum period of 90 days. During this period I want to get her to the Netherlands via the Belgium route or Germany route.
I have read something about the Germany route (or Belgium route) before. I myself have been living in Germany since last year and have my own house. Who can provide me with the latest status? And how?
