Bangkok Bank and link with VISA
I live permanently in Thailand and have been banking with Bangkok Bank for almost 10 years. To great satisfaction I can say. Never any problems, short waiting times in the bank, good service at the counter, online banking (iBanking) works fine. And because of the link with VISA, I was able to pay everywhere for 10 years with the Debit Card connected to my bank account. So until this week.

My question is about International iBanking at Bangkok Bank. According to the bank I had to fill in 2 forms, I went there at the Bangkok bank in Salaya. The first thing they said was no problem. But after a lot of talking it turned out that it was not possible.
Is it possible to withdraw money from an ATM in the Netherlands with a debit card from the Bangkok Bank? And do you still get a reasonable rate?

Is it possible to open an 'and/or account' with Bangkok bank? I already have an account in my name and a debit card. My wife also has a bank card of my bank number.

I opened a bank account with Bangkok Bank 20 years ago. After 3 days my bank card was slid under my hotel door and 2 days later my code. Unfortunately not being able to be in Thailand for the last 6 years, while my Thai bank card has expired. Hope to go this year.
