This summer, many Dutch holidays focus on major sporting events such as the European Football Championship, the Tour de France and the Olympic Games. Research shows that 36 percent of holidaymakers watch sports at their holiday address. Men in particular plan their day around sports broadcasts, while women do this less often.
Thailand at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics
With many hours of fun watching the performances of athletes from many countries at the Tokyo Olympics, you might have missed the fact that Thailand was also one of the participating countries. Thailand delegated 41 athletes, who had to compete for medals in 15 sports disciplines.

First Pole Dancing Olympic Gold to Pattaya?
The Thai media recently reported enthusiastically that it is quite conceivable that the first Olympic gold medal in pole dancing will end up in Pattaya. The International Pole Dancing Sports Federation (IPSF) has announced that pole dancing has been granted "observer status" by the International Sports Federation, meaning that it is provisionally recognized as a sport.
