I'm reading a new adjustment here that they want to use to counter false 'retirement'. Read the bottom sentences at 90 days notification. They want to see a bank statement from you every 90 days.

The TB Immigration Info Letter 005/19 – 90 Day Report Chiang Mai Immigration was concluded with the question “How does the 90 Day Report happen in your Immigration Office, or maybe you do it by post or online and what are your experiences with it?”

Visited Chiang Mai Immigration today for my 90 days notice and re-entry permit application. I got in at 13.10 pm and was outside again 20 minutes later: everything arranged! Tribute! But this aside, at the 90 day notification I also submitted a number of copies, but the lady at the desk said: No need any more! Only the TM 47 document was needed.

I have a large pension, enough to meet the requirements for a Non-immigrant O visa. I plan to live in Thailand most of my time. However, every 2 to 3 months will have to return to the Netherlands for 1 to 2 weeks due to some business obligations.

A question from my friend without a PC. His 90 days expired on February 15. Now you can come 14 days before and 7 days later to report. He will fly back to the Netherlands on 18 February. Can he leave without reporting for those 90 days?

What is the sanction fine for a late 90 day notification? In my case 1 day late (I know, my own fault). Initially a fine of 2.000 Baht. When I got my passport back, the officer slipped another 1.000 Baht note into the passport and said: half half. So in the end paid 1000 Baht and no receipt of course.

My first question: when should I report my first 90 days? Do I have to start counting from my entry on September 01, 2018 or from October 16, 2018 (the day I received my annual extension) or from November 29, 2018? My second question: has anyone had good or bad experiences with online 90 days reporting in Chiang Mai?

Fortunately, Charly's life is full of pleasant surprises (unfortunately sometimes also less pleasant ones). Until a few years ago, he would never have dared to predict that he would spend the rest of his life in Thailand. However, he has now been living in Thailand for a while and in recent years close to Udonthani. Today an article about his experiences with immigration in Udon.

In the past, I successfully submitted my 90-day report via the Internet (extranet.immigration.go.th) four times, but my fifth attempt at the beginning of last year unfortunately failed.

In the Thailand blog of March 25, the story was that you could do the 90-day visa notification from April 1 at any 7-11. Maybe the sentence wasn't finished yet? Because this morning I visited 7-11 for my timely 90-day report and after 20 minutes of struggling on their digital cash register, it was concluded that it was possible for residents of Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar, but The Netherlands was not included in the short list.

Good news for those who stay in Thailand for a long time. One of the big annoyances, the 90-day notification, is getting a lot less annoying. From next Sunday, this can be done at every branch of the 7-Eleven. The obligation to provide your address every 90 days does not disappear, but you no longer have to go to an immigration office, with the long waiting times that usually go with it.

I now have my Thai girlfriend on holiday in the Netherlands for the first time. She received her Schengen visa for December 28 to April 12 (which I find strange, because this is for a period of more than 90 days). Only she leaves earlier to go home, namely on March 3. Now my question is, when can she apply for a new visa again? Is that 90 days after she left? So 90 days after March 3? Or is that 90 days after the end of her visa period? And is that “90 days” after “90 days” after December 28? (I'm sure you understand this). Or is that 90 days after April 12?

I have the following question and I can't find the solution here immediately: Normally I should have made my 90-day notification on October 10th last. But on September 12th I had my visa extended which expired on September 22nd. So I'm assuming my next 90-day report is sometime in December, is this correct? Now I notice that the paper stapled to my passport still has the date 10 October. I haven't been on October 10! Am I wrong now? Or did they forget to adjust this at Immigration?

Like so many here, I too fell in love with a Thai girl during one of my holidays through Asia. And now it has come to the point that she will also come to the Netherlands. Just because it probably won't stop there, my question is what exactly about those 90/180 days.

I am in transit and want to report my 90 days in Chiangmai. Chiangmai apparently has two immigration offices, one near the airport and one in the Promenade complex. So I go to Promenade. There they casually tell me to fill out a TM30, have it stamped at the airport, then come back.

I have a question regarding visa, my friend emigrated to Thailand in April 18, 2016. Upon arrival he received a stamp at immigration 18-04-2016 – 17-04-2017. Now he said that with this visa he does not have to report every 90 days. And that he only has to report again on April 17, 2017 for an extension by leaving the country, with a re-enty. After that, this visa will be converted to an annual visa with an extension.
