Learning Thai is a lot of fun and satisfaction
Do you have trouble speaking and reading Thai? Then “The Thai language, grammar, spelling and pronunciation” offers the solution. The fourth revised edition of my book has already been published.
The book is clear, accessible and complete. I made the phonetics in our language in which the essential pitches and vowel lengths are also clear and easy to read. All subjects can be easily searched through the extensive index. The book is suitable for beginners, for (self) study and as a reference work for advanced students.
The example sentences are in line with current language use. The Thai ambassador in The Hague was happy to see that it is good contemporary Thai. The WATWAALWIJK language school, connected to the Buddharama temple in Waalwijk, uses it as a textbook.
Since I was in Thailand for the first time in 2011, it has always been an enrichment for me to understand and speak Thai more.

A great textbook for those who want to learn Thai spelling, grammar, etc. With good example sentences. I have also used the book in writing my short series of Thai language/scripture lessons here on the blog: https://www.thailandblog.nl/taal/het-thaise-schrift-les-1/
Indeed an excellent book about (almost) all the ins and outs of the Thai language. And in Dutch, there are not many good learning methods NL-Thai. I would definitely recommend it for anyone learning Thai. I would first start learning the basics of Thai with, for example, the Linguaphone course and also use this book.
