Road construction around Pattaya

For some time now, there has been an enormous development of roads in the Pattaya area. A connection is being built between Banglamung and towards route 331.

Relentlessly, like a strange monster, it eats its way through the nature and agricultural areas. A road that is estimated to become at least two times three lanes. The people who participated in the rally drive of the NVTPattaya have been able to see this gigantic attack on nature twice in different places. Near the Maprachan lake (water extraction area) the activities can be observed in various places. It is likely that traffic from the east coast will decrease via the Suhkumvit road through Pattaya.

Another possibility could be that new industrial areas are created along this road. Several companies have indicated in the past that they want to expand. The east coast of the country with its infrastructure could qualify for this. Another important point is that the weather conditions in this area are fairly stable compared to other parts of Thailand.

The expansion of U Tapao now also has easier supply and disposal options. Especially now that the second terminal has been completed. Thai AirAsia has announced new flights from March 30. Daily to both Phuket and Ubon Ratchathani. Both can be reached within an hour and a half flight. More important, however, are cargo flights in aviation.

The future will tell what the ultimate purpose of this mammoth road construction was.
