Citta di Como, a new addition to Pattaya

In the vicinity of Khao Chee Chao and on the other side of the Silverlake Vineyard, a beautiful Italian villa village arises: Citta di Como. With a lot of imagination, picturesque and colorful houses are built on a large area.

The site is divided into two parts by a beautiful water feature. In the first part a real Colosseum rises, the second in Pattaya. The second part is characterized by a terraced construction on which a large area is reserved for lunches and dinners with a beautiful view of the Khao Chee Chao and on the other side in the distance of the Mandapa temple of the Wat Yannasangwaram. On some evenings, live music takes place from the purpose-built theater. A very tasteful restaurant has been built next to the terrace. In the vicinity of this complex, one can admire the statues of Roman warriors and other classical figures. It somewhat matches the Silverlake Vineyard which is also Italian inspired.

Would one have walked out and photographed, one can choose from the very wide range that the menu offers. Unfortunately only Thai food, I have not been able to discover a menu with European dishes. The prices are very reasonable. Service is friendly, but I only encountered Cambodian staff at the time.

A huge golf course is also being built in the vicinity: Chee Chan. They have been working on this for two to three years now and it is not yet finished.

If you type in “Citta di Como in Pattaya”, a number of photos will appear about this “Italian” village.

if it is doable in terms of distance from pattaya, I definitely want to put this on my bucket list now, and visit it next holiday!

It is about a 20 – 30 minute drive from Pattaya towards Sattahip over the Sukhumvit.
Turn left at Wat Yannasangwararam sign at roundabout turn right into Khao Chee Chan.

Or from the Suhkumvit take the next left towards Khao Chee Chan.

The area offers a lot of beauty with behind the Vine Yard Silverlake the Ramayana Waterpark, one of the largest in Asia. (www.ramayanawaterpark.com)

The Thai way is copied again because originality can not be blamed. In Nakhon Ratchasima province, you already have 3 of these Italian villages 150 km away. Go tell them that a Dutch village is also picturesque, or put down a beautiful Japanese authentic village, the latter is my preference.

Mimosa is a copied German village near Pattaya opposite hotel Ambassador where only the ground floor is used for the sale of all kinds of (souvenier) stuff and restaurants, but a Ladyboy show
      'in the evening.

At Nakhon Ratchasima it is more “decor” construction than functional habitation, which I do expect at the Citta di Como. One of the directors already lives there in a separate house and in the "ordinary" houses there was also something to be seen. (staff?)
Presumably the future Golf event will also have something to do with this or a place to stay for a few days for the (wealthier) tourist.

Look, here I think that at least Italian food could be offered. If you (also as a Thai) are in such a picturesque environment, then that is part of it.
