How do you get to Baiyoke Tower and Sky Hotel?

The Baiyoke Tower is located at 222 Ratchaprarop Road in Bangkok. The two closest Skytrain stops are Phya Thai and Ratchathewi, about a 20-25 minute walk from Baiyoke Tower. However, this walk is not recommended given the heat in Bangkok. It is therefore better to take a taxi or tuk-tuk from the stations. If you can manage well in Thai, it is also doable with the local bus.

Rice you from Banglamphu or Ratanakosin to the Baiyoke Tower, you can take the water taxi (via Khlong Sen Seb). By the way, this is not recommended if you have a weak stomach; a first ride by water taxi is quite intense. Nevertheless, these boats are useful as a means of transport. To get to the Baiyoke Tower, get off at the Pratunam stop. Then you walk along the Rajadamri to the north.

Pratunam market

Do you like shopping? Near the Baiyoke Tower you will find the Pratunam Market. On this market you mainly have wholesale, but there are also stalls where you can buy clothes. A visit to the Baiyoke Tower can also be combined with a visit to Jim Thompson's house.

Before visiting Bangkok, it is highly recommended to buy a Nancy Chandler city map.
