The twelfth Beach Football Cup at Jomtien Beach (continued)
In the February 11 posting, the 12e Beach Football Cup announced. One of the blog readers wanted to know the status of the results. We are proud to report that the Dutch have won all matches so far.
Especially against the strong Norway, where they had trouble holding their own in the beginning of the game. But soon the odds turned and the Netherlands beat Norway 3-2 for the first time, quite an achievement.
Which matches have already been played?
- Netherlands – Russia: 4 – 2
- Netherlands – Ireland: 6 – 4
- Netherlands – France: 14 – 0!
- Netherlands – Finland: 7 – 3
- Netherlands – Norway: 3 – 2
Ali stood out with a goal score of no less than 15 pieces. However, René and Dishan did not leave their mark either. Just before the end of the official playing time, Dilshan managed to bring the final score to 3 – 2 with a beautifully taken free kick.
As a result, the Dutch finish in 1st place in the group. On Saturday it will play against Thailand in the semi-finals. The other semi-final will be played between Cameroon and Norway.
So far a great success for the Dutch at the Jomtien Beach.

Thank you for all these results!
It has indeed been a long time since the Netherlands finished 1st in the group, now they have to win those 2 other matches and then party.
Last year was the last time that the Netherlands finished first in the group. Then Norway was also beaten in the group, but in the end the final was not won by the Netherlands, but by Norway.
The semi-final against Thailand at 7 pm on Saturday and the final on Sunday. a good chance of repeating last year's Holland-Norway
Does anyone know what time the semi-final between the Netherlands and Thailand starts next Saturday. Am in the area and would like to encourage the Dutch team.
it could be a repeat of the final at the end of december 2015. the netherlands beat cameroon. What was especially striking was the hatred of the Cameroonians against the Dutch players with a tan. a kind of betrayal of hatred in the eyes of the cameroon players to africa. they want to show with their aggressive body language that they are the best and sexiest race. especially towards the white sexy female audience. speaking of complexes.
Well done. Give Ali my regards from coachie Cle from Terneuzen. I was there in 2015. Then they first won against Norway and later lost the final. Don't let it happen to them again.
gogo Orange, gogo Ali. You can do it !!!!
