Thailand has a variety of beautiful golf courses and is therefore a popular international golf destination for many avid golfers.

According to the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Thailand is even the best international golf destination in the world. Thailand received this recognition at the sixth Asia Golf Industry Show, recently held at the Manekshaw Center in the Indian city of New Dehli.

Thailand is especially praised for the beautifully landscaped golf courses, the extremely friendly caddies and the attractively priced green fees. There are more than 250 international class golf courses in Thailand. Many of these courses have been designed by renowned international golf course architects.

Golf courses can be found all over Thailand. Those who stay near Hua Hin will undoubtedly know the beautiful golf courses of Banyan Golf Course, Black Mountain and Imperial Lakeview, among others. Hua Hin was voted the best golf destination 2014 in Asia by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO) last year.

In short, Thailand has a lot to offer every golf enthusiast.

You can also take golf lessons under the sun instead of being blown away on a Dutch course.

Indeed, the wave bands in Hua Hin in particular are beautiful. But what strikes me is that the prices for the jobs are at the level of European jobs. They are extremely expensive by Thai standards.

Very true what Rino writes, Hua Hin, Puket and Chang Mai are very expensive, but in the vicinity of Pattaya and Khao Yai, Khorat and Khon Kean the Golf Courses are 50% cheaper and just as beautiful. If it's really just about the Golf, then you ignore those expensive links and if you go out of season from April 1 to September 30 you get another 30 % discount so-called promotion.

Black Mountain is indeed pricey. The other jobs in Hua Hin are half. Got to play 2 times at Black Mountain it was great. It's not an easy job. The location and the decor are really great and worth the price as far as I'm concerned when I compare it to what they charge in other countries. I often hear good reports about the golf courses around Pattaya.
