In Thailand watching Formula 1 in Zandvoort
The Formula 1 circus has returned to Zandvoort after an absence of 36 years. There, the battle for the world title between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton will continue this weekend
This is how an article in today's Algemeen Dagblad begins. The article is just part of an avalanche of news reports, background information, interviews with experts, with drivers and I don't know what else. I'm not a real fan of car races, I follow it a bit, especially now that one Max Verstappen is participating, who may become the first Dutchman to win a Grand Prix in Zandvoort.
With all that attention on all kinds of websites, even I get excited and I plan to follow the spectacle from now on. I will definitely look into it, but I don't know how yet?
That will not be a problem in the Netherlands, because Ziggo, which has the television rights for the Netherlands, believes that the whole of the Netherlands should be able to watch and has decided to make its channels available to all television viewers free of charge.
I don't know how that will go here in Thailand. Ziggo is not included in my EuroTV-Asia package and I have to wait and see if there will be a Thai channel that will broadcast the races. Perhaps the race will also be broadcast via YouTube or via Facebook,
Are you going to follow the races or maybe you have secured a place in Zandvoort. How are you going to watch if you live in Thailand.
Reactions with tips, where blog readers in Thailand can still benefit this weekend, are very welcome!

Bert Gringhuis (1945), born and raised in Almelo in the beautiful Twente. Later lived for many years in Amsterdam and Alkmaar, working in export for various companies. I first came to Thailand in 1980 and immediately fell in love with the country. Been back many times since then and moved to Thailand after my (early) retirement as a widower. I have been living there for 22 years now with my somewhat younger Thai lady Poopae.
My first experiences in Thailand as a kind of newsletter sent to family, friends and acquaintances, which later appeared under the name Gringo on Thailandblog. Many, many articles followed those first stories and that has grown into an almost daily hobby.
In the Netherlands still an avid footballer and football referee, but the years are starting to tell and in Thailand still avid, but the pool billiards is really of inferior quality, ha ha!

Hello Gringo,
To watch Formula 1, use the German website http://www.2ix2.com , this is a free site with German, Austrian and Swiss channels, go down on this website until you see Orf 1, click on it and enjoy the formula 1, with a preview, in German, but that should not be a problem for anyone from Almelooooo, sometimes Servus TV also broadcasts this, this website is also useful for the motorcycle GP and German football
You can watch directly with True Vision
I am currently watching training
On True Vision, all F1 are broadcast live
If you have a EuroNLTV-Asia subscription, you can simply watch on the Ziggo channel, which is called Ziggosport Select. It is the first Ziggo channel after Eurosport.
Thanks, Brenda, I found it!
For Ziggo sport live streaming and from Thailand.

Good luck..
I can watch via my IPTV (85 euros pj) have 67 countries in it, but that is completely unnecessary luxury. What should you do with eg Afghanistan? so nothing but can see all Ned channels even all local broadcasters.
All Dutch, English, Italian, Spanish and French football can also be seen via ESPN and/or ziggo/Golf and therefore also motorsport.
Yes, that's right… I have the same thing with IVIEW… far over 1000 channels, most of them superfluous… but all western European channels, plus Ziggo plus Sky Sport F1…
It will also be broadcast via you tube at a later date.

Dear All; this is how I watch Form 1 and Football; cyfostreams.com & hescoal.com and that is going like a spear!!!!!
Internet site hesgoal you can watch all sports for free, including the matches of the NL national team, and of course also the F1 race in Zandvoort
I simply have a subscription to the TRUE sports package, which includes all Premier League matches, all Thai Premier League matches, a channel for Spanish and Italian football, PPTV for the Bundesliga, NBA basketball, two golf channels, a separate tennis channel, a separate rugby channel, a snooker channel and two road racing channels that always broadcast everything from Formula 1, including qualifying races and training sessions.
If I want to see something that they don't broadcast, such as the matches of the Dutch football team and the Champions League, there is always doofootball.com on the computer.
Cyfostreams is blocked for me, malicious site blocked?
Dear all, who wants to watch formula 1 and all sports in the Netherlands and all channels and much more in the future, please contact us.

I watch through IPTV. SD, HD and FHD and of course have a lot of unnecessary channels from just as many countries. I care about the sports channels and the news.
Oh yes, it would also be nice if it could be specified what people are connected to when using IPTV.
I have an android box, which I can also use if I had a dish for example.
I pay about €6 per 50 months and buy via Rapid IPTV

Pretty simple. I watch all Dutch channels via VPN via the Canal Digital app. And I don't have a subscription for Ziggo Sport, but it's free this weekend. You can also watch via other other apps if you take out a subscription there. If you do not have an address in the Netherlands, you can arrange this through friends or family
Euronl.tv has ziggoselect where everything from the F1 is broadcast, but next year I would like to know where to watch.
