Twelfth Beach Football Cup at Jomtien Beach

This year, for the twelfth time, the famous Beach Football will start opposite the Night Jomtien Market. An event that is attracting more and more attention, with international teams from Norway, Russia, the Netherlands, Ireland and even Cameroon, among others.

A total of 12 national teams play against each other. The start is today February 11 and continues until the 19th of the month. The start of the game is five o'clock in the afternoon.

The beach of Jomtien is turned into a real beach SOCCER stadium for one week a year. Many interested people can take a seat in the specially built grandstands.

What once started as a joke has grown into a true spectacle, enjoyed by many.

Ex-professional football players from various football clubs come from the Netherlands to participate. It would be nice if the Netherlands could win the first prize this year, but with strong opponents such as from Norway, it is more of a “Wishful” thinking. It remains a fun challenge.
