Chee Chan Golf Resort, newest addition to Chonburi
Chonburi is a golf resort richer. Number 27 in the wider area. Construction took three years and the official opening took place on 13 December.
The golf course was designed by renowned architect David Dale. Commissioned by the Chartered Square Holding Company, this 5-star resort was built for over a billion baht. This is an 18 hole "Championship-Course" at the foot of the famous Khao Chee Chan, the mountain with the 130 meter high Buddha image near the Vine Yard.
The terrain is very varied according to the latest insights, making it attractive for golfers to come and play here. Chairman Narit Chia-Apar knows better than anyone what golf players think and wish.
The large clubhouse offers a good view of the 18 holes and is equipped with everything one could wish for.
The current green fee price for 18 holes is between 4.000 and 5.000 baht during the week, caddy and golf cart 1.200 baht. A separate price is charged for foreign residents and expats. The desired information can be obtained by telephone, Tel. 038 196555 or email: [email protected]
Due to the recent construction, the whole still appears somewhat sterile and bare, partly due to the limited number of visitors. In a few years the whole will undoubtedly look more attractive, certainly because of the planted vegetation.
In my opinion, the clubhouse is far too far from the entrance and does not look inviting.

Nicely laid out
But given the far too high price, hook will also be disappointing here.
One golf course after another is struggling with financial problems.
Partly due to the declining value of the Thai baht
Time will tell.
Still lots of golf fun there!!

My estimation is that this is an investment if the future CEOs of the EEC event come to play here as clients.
You already think you're rich!
Elsewhere you can go for half the amount mentioned.
Except, it seems, at the Siam Country Club where they charge different prices for "Farang enthusiasts", following an angry article in a newspaper.
'A separate price is charged for foreign residents and expats': that will probably be an even higher price? I can imagine it's not a storm........
