Thai female boxers, fight against prejudice
Now that women's boxing is also on the program during the 2012 Olympic Games in London, it is Thailand of the party.
The International Olympic Committee has already announced at an earlier stage that female boxers in London will be allowed to compete in three classes (48-51 kg, 56-60 kg, 69-75 kg). Until now, boxing was an Olympic sport in which women were not allowed to participate.
In Thailand, there are a number of talented female Muay Thai boxers. They are now training for an Olympic medal they hope to win in London. They have in Thailand with many advantages. Female boxers are not allowed to compete in major boxing stadiums in Bangkok.
