Route to the Khlong San Market
The Khlong San Market is located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, next to the Khlong San Pier. The coordinates of Khlong San Market are 13.7265 degrees north latitude and 100.5086 degrees east longitude.
Below you will find directions to get there:
By boat:
- Get on the BTS Skytrain to Saphan Taksin station and take the river exit
- Take the ferry from Sathorn Pier to Khlong San Pier
- Walk south from the pier and you will see the market on your left
With the cab:
- Tell the taxi driver that you want to go to Khlong San Market
- The market is located on Charoen Nakhon Road, next to Khlong San Pier
With public transport:
- Get on the BTS skytrain to Krung Thonburi station and take the exit to the street
- From here, take a taxi or tuk-tuk to the market
- Tell the driver that you want to go to Khlong San Market, located next to Khlong San Pier

I tried to look it up, the pier is easy to find on google maps, but if you go south on the map you end up at ICON SIAM, a very luxurious shopping center which really does not match the description of cheap shopping. “Khlong San market” is “permanently closed” on google maps.
And the description, ask the taxi driver, is also not very accurate 🙂

From the river (back to the water) the market is almost next to the Millennium Hilton. At the right.

The Khlong San market no longer exists. It closed a few months ago and has since been demolished to the ground.
