Tired of those standard hotel rooms, which all look alike? Then spend the night in a themed hotel based on the movie 'The Shawshank Redemption'. Yes, you sleep in a prison cell!

For 18 euros per night you wake up in a cell in the Sook Station hostel. The budget hotel is located in the Sukhumvit area, close to a Skytrain BTS station (Udom Suk).

A stay will not be comparable to the infamous Bangkwang prison because you can leave your cell whenever you want. Wifi is also standard equipment at Sook Station because a little crook has to stay connected to the rest of the world.
