The specter of every man (video)

It happens all over the world, the woman is out of the house and the man invites another lady into his house for his need for sex. A golden rule in my opinion is that you should never do such a thing in your own home, especially in Thailand there are plenty of other options to relax with a lady in a bedroom.

However, this Thai man did and what the specter of every man who has set up such an adventure came true this time. His wife came home unexpectedly to find her husband in the matrimonial bed with a lovely companion.

However, the woman's understandable anger was not directed at her life partner. The story shows that the relationship was already not good and a divorce was in preparation. No, the young lady fell victim to this tragicomedy. I had heard what happened before as quite normal in Thailand, namely, that the man is not really to blame, but the lady in question is to blame for the incident.

The young lady was chased out of the condo in her nude and the video shows that the adulterous man still manages to give some underwear and a handbag to the visitor, who is huddled in the hallway crying.

The video was made by the wife, not intended to go viral, but a friend posted it to YouTube where it was eagerly watched by tens of thousands of viewers. Comment from the visiting lady: “The worst part is that the man didn't pay me Baht!”

I first came to Thailand in 1980 and immediately fell in love with the country. Been back many times since then and moved to Thailand after my (early) retirement as a widower. I have been living there for 22 years now with my somewhat younger Thai lady Poopae.
My first experiences in Thailand as a kind of newsletter sent to family, friends and acquaintances, which later appeared under the name Gringo on Thailandblog. Many, many articles followed those first stories and that has grown into an almost daily hobby.
In the Netherlands still an avid footballer and football referee, but the years are starting to tell and in Thailand still avid, but the pool billiards is really of inferior quality, ha ha!

Isn't the golden rule that you don't cheat on your partner? Either you agree to an open relationship, or you end the relationship. The specter of every man and woman must be to find out that you have been cheated by your partner.

On ThaiVisa I read that the apartment belonged to the woman, a gift from her husband. And that the divorce has already started. If the divorce was already underway, it is less bad that your soon-to-be ex cheats, but then pack your bags as a man or woman, leave and then do what you can't resist.

That woman should have thrown her husband out the door together with that companion. I understand that she is angry but her anger should rationally be directed at her husband, he is to blame. It is quite possible that the lady companion did not even know that the gentleman was committing adultery.

I have another golden rule for cases like this: You should never do such a thing in the lady's house.
Unless you like going viral of course.

What now? Do the 'movie stars', like those farang students of last month, have to sit behind a table with all kinds of important police officers and apologize to the Thai people?

    Hypocrisy!
All a bit sanctimonious to me, both from concerned Thais and commentators… and especially from the internet community that is ready to condemn like a headless chicken. Like psychotics without limits.
Today everyone wants to be more correct, better, more moral, more virtuous etc. than his fellow man. No, I correct: now everyone wants to 'give the impression' that he is. Pure hypocrisy!
Equality does not exist! Even in evil, people want to distinguish themselves…

The wife was clearly aware, clearly wants to make a "reality documentary". She had the mobile at the ready. A best case for her. Scored!
Reminds me of the fifties-seventies of the last century in Belgium when cheated wife/husband went to the chamber of adultery with the police at five o'clock in the morning for an 'official' bust.
So they could finally get a divorce. Because mutual consent did not yet exist… In other words, provocation, and a legal necessity, but then those matters were treated discreetly and respectfully. The next day the village was not in turmoil! It was the business of life that could happen anywhere and to anyone.

The Thai people I meet always say when there is such a thing: You can't judge it; that person is more than this little incident… Every situation is different. He's human.
Are we all still such internet illiterates that we don't realize it. Preconceived games that we fall for with our eyes wide open on the wide web. Well-thought-out staging (therefore not that 'all' participants wanted to play along, such as the girl who was tricked…).

Man is a strange thing, my grandfather used to say.

    every situation is different

What are we talking about. Adultery is as old as relationships and always will be. Not fun for the deceived party, but let's not judge and play the moral knight. According to the bible, coveting is also adultery, so ………live and let live
