During a two-hour rescue attempt, ten Thai tourists managed to save during so-called 'flash floods' in the province of Phetchabun.

Flash floods are sudden streams of water that can be life-threatening.

The rising water came down a hill at high speed in Petchabhun Thapol. The ten tourists who visited the local Wang Hin Hor Waterfall were completely surprised by the body of water, the DailyNews reported.

The alerted rescuers stretched a line to prevent the tourists from being dragged away and possibly drowning. An exhausted female tourist was almost swallowed up by the water. But thanks to the iron grip of one of the rescuers, she can tell the story (video footage at 0:40)

All tourists were saved thanks to the good work of the brave members of the Petchabhun Rescue Squad!
