About Thai long toes

At a high level, yes! The Bangkok police are seriously concerned about a video on the media in which a Chinese lady says that Soi Nana in Bangkok is not safe for a woman alone. Because, damn it, she was approached by a stranger... And she is happy that she survived.

True or False? Soi Nana is a busy street and anyone can encounter a 'stranger' there who might also say something to you... But is that worth a comment that Bangkok is not safe for a woman alone?

Well, what can you say about that? I see that lady walking around with bling-bling, although that could also be tinsel and you don't do that in a strange city... You attract attention with that, also in China and all over the world.

We know that Thailand is sensitive to negative comments. If cockroaches are on holiday in your hotel room, you are not allowed to put it in the media because then there is a threat of arrest and a big claim... Now the police want to speak to her, so I think we will hear more about it...

Well, sounds like yet another drama streamer who turns a mosquito into an elephant or outright makes things up, all for the views and revenue. I'm not going to watch that video, but according to Thai media she was greeted by a man and then said: “this man could also have pulled me along” and “this street is not safe for 99% of the women”. Sucks, not worth the time. Does such nonsense damage the reputation of a popular entertainment area? Do not think so. But as long as flashy videos attract more attention than serious videos about the pleasant and less pleasant aspects of these types of areas, you are just mopping with the tap open.

This lady is a kind of Social Media star in China, including on TikTok and another Chinese medium.

She has a large number of followers, so it is understandable that the Thai government is not amused. Especially now that the numbers of Chinese tourists are disappointing.

She is standing there in an area where there are many freelancers on the street and judging by her clothing, it is not surprising that she is approached there. In my opinion, the fact that she is going to post about this in complete panic is an exaggeration.

By the way, it does indeed have a tail. The Thai government states that it posted this to generate clicks and therefore made money from it and that is not allowed with a tourist visa, they see this as work.

Her visa details are known, so I think we will definitely hear more about that.

As an influencer you want to score on Insta and/or TikTok. It also deserves it.
Then sometimes you have to do these pranks to entertain the followers

In response to your reaction in Thai long toes, which of course they have quickly, but the cause starts somewhere else. These types of influencers are people who want to 'score' no matter what, preferably worldwide.
But yes, people do not always see the difference between freedom of speech and democracy and decency clearly.
A 'big clean-up' of the internet would not do any harm, especially at the top, i.e. the social media. As already mentioned, the 'grocer' on the corner must adhere to more rules than the socials.

What the Chinese publish is simply idiotic, but how the Thai government reacts is no longer idiotic... learn to deal with criticism, even if you write a bad review about something you have to be careful... and then it's surprising that tourists are increasingly ignoring Thailand lie.

On December 8 on Khaosod English; Immigration has already talked to her. And no, of course she did not intend to damage Thailand, but wanted to warn that certain places in Bangkok are dangerous for women because 90% of the people on Soi Nana are bad. Imagine, someone asked her 'How are you today?' and of course that is not possible... Simple soul! It is now being investigated and the lady can be blacklisted. She came in on a Thai Privilege Card.

The ambassador of China has also been called in because there is something going on with the Chinese film 'No more bets...' that would damage tourism to Thailand; human and organ trafficking?

But yes, there are long toes. Years ago there was such a riot in Cambodia, because a Thai actress had shouted that Angkor Wat was actually Thai….

That of Ankor Wat is correct. There is a miniature at the grand palace in Bangkok
