Warning Vietnamese embassy in The Hague about 'visa on arrival'
Are you traveling to Vietnam ? Pay close attention to how you use one visum requests. The Vietnamese embassy in the Netherlands warns travelers against applying for 'visa on arrival' at service providers and websites other than the Vietnamese embassy in The Hague itself. The (only) correct website of the Vietnamese embassy is vnembassy-thehague.mofa.gov.vn/en-us/
However, you can only apply for a visa at this embassy, not visa on arrival. Note: Instead of a visa on arrival or applying for a visa at the embassy in The Hague, Dutch citizens can now also apply for e-visa online. – The Embassy of Viet Nam in the Dutch have recently received many feedbacks from foreign nationals on the visa online service provided by above-mentioned websites.
– The Embassy holds no responsibility for any visa application for Viet Nam provided by these services. Also, the embassy does not provide any visa on arrival service.
In order to avoid any risks that may arise when boarding flights or at ports of entry in Viet Nam due to possible miscommunication, travelers are strongly recommended to apply with the Vietnamese Embassy in the Netherlands to get visas before leaving IN PERSON OR BY POST.

I travel to Vietnam twice a year. I apply for a VISA on arrival via the internet. After two days I will receive it by email. With the stamps of the UN government. Then all I have to do is fill in a form with my photo and I can go. When I arrive I go to the counter and there I get the visa after waiting and paying.

Smooth and no running to the embassy.
I also used this site earlier this year and had no problem with the visa.
But it is only possible if you enter the country via an airport.
So not when you travel via land.
Ditto if you go to Cambodia. There are several sites on the internet where you can do this. But know that there are several plain deceptions. Upon arrival in Cambo, it is not the first to hear: FAKE!!! So buy the visa at the airport or at the border crossing at the immigration, then you are sure. It will be a while, but what is half an hour if you are on vacation?
