The following entry rules for Thailand will be in effect from July 1, 2022. There are specific requirements for vaccinated and unvaccinated/not fully vaccinated travelers from all countries/territories with scheduled arrivals from this date.

  • A certificate of vaccination against COVID-19.

The vaccinated travelers will be allowed entry and free to travel to any destination in Thailand (for overland arrivals using a border pass, a stay of no more than 3 days is allowed within the specified areas).

The unvaccinated/not fully vaccinated travellers without a negative test resultt, are required to follow public health instructions and guidelines deemed appropriate by the Health Control officer at the point of arrival. All costs incurred are the responsibility of the traveler.

During your stay

In Thailand, both vaccinated and unvaccinated/not fully vaccinated travelers are advised to strictly follow health and safety standards. Travelers experiencing COVID-like symptoms should get tested. If they test positive, they should receive appropriate medical treatment.

a good thing finally. Can one also be in transit in Bangkok to a flight to Chiang Mai? So transfer to another plane and where does the inspection take place? Or is everything the same as before corona.

Is the yellow vaccination booklet a valid certificate? If not, what is the certificate you should have with you?

    • Peter (editor) says up

      See here: https://www.rijksoverheid.nl/onderwerpen/coronavirus-coronabewijs-en-coronatoegangsbewijs/vaccinatiebewijs
Yellow booklet is not proof, has zero value. Is only for yourself to see which travelers vaccinations you have had.

Is 2 vaccinations enough or do you also have to have a booster?

    • Peter (editor) says up

      Booster is not required

I am Belgian and live in Belgium, vaccinated 3x and infected 1x..
Where can you obtain a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 that is valid to enter Thailand? In which language should this certificate be drawn up? Dutch, English, Thai,…

    • Rudi says up

Do you have the CovidSafe app, your vaccinations are stored in or via e-box and then under health you will also find everything about you

    In English. See here: https://www.vlaanderen.be/covid-certificaat/covid-certificaat-het-vaccinatiecertificaat

Required: “A certificate of vaccination against COVID-19”
I have already been vaccinated 4 times; is there no validity period of this certificate with that requirement???

For Dutch people who are wondering how and where to collect a vaccination, recovery or (PCR) test certificate, this is easy to obtain online:

    - Go to http://www.coronacheck.nl
    – Click on 'Create paper evidence'
    – Read the information on the screen and click 'next'
    – Select the relevant option (vaccination certificate, recovery certificate or test certificate)
    – Log in with DigiD
    – Verify your data
    – Click on 'Create proof'
    – Click on 'Download PDF'
    – Print out the PDF file

Voilá, you have an official international vaccination certificate with QR code for all individual vaccinations you have had.

It is also possible to use the mobile coronacheck app, but personally I prefer to print it out. Small effort and no issues if your phone battery is just or almost empty and a Dutch-language app can only cause confusion with the customs officer in Thailand.

    Hope this helps someone 🙂

I then assume that the Qr code from the Corona App is sufficient if you are vaccinated.
Or do you really have to print that certificate on paper.

Peter I have one more question:

what is actually meant by “certificate of vaccination” ??
are those the vaccination certificates you received from the government
I have 4 proofs (2x (first injection + repetition have been converted into international proof) and 2 x booster

and I also have the Thailand Pass

    kindly answer immediately
