About Cordon

Corendon was founded in Haarlem in 2000, when Atilay Uslu and his business partner Yildiray Karaer decided to join forces. Before then, the young entrepreneur Uslu had already taken his first steps in the travel industry, but the real success came with the establishment of Corendon. The company started as a Turkey specialist that first only sold flight tickets and later also sold fully arranged trips to Turkey. In 15 years, Corendon has grown into a leading, very successful tour operator and the number 1 travel organization when it comes to many Turkish and other popular destinations within and outside Europe.

Corendon has the largest market share in terms of passenger transport to the destinations of Turkey, Cyprus, Macedonia, Bulgaria and Morocco.

Those are competitive prices! Sometimes even cheaper than a separate ticket at KLM. The only drawback is that from now on you will meet Sjonnie and Astrid on Soi Bintabaht 😉

Because so far only 'civilized' tourists come?

Also from Belgium, Brussels, Charleroi, Ostend?

That is certainly advantageous, but the question is with what kind of van you will be brought to Hua Hin and in which hotel you will stay in Hua Hin.

Hotels are simply listed on the Corendon website, so that doesn't seem that difficult to me.

That is beneficial. I am curious whether these prices remain so structurally low at Corendon or a lure to break open the market.

From €599,-!!!!!………..so there will be a thick layer of mayo on top! Flying with KLM direct + 4 * hotel and transfer…….9 days………sounds too good to be true.

Today there was a full-page advertisement from Cor and Don in the Telegraaf. Hua Hin is praised for its vibrant nightlife. That seems a bit exaggerated to me, I would rather call it subdued.

A nice lure, which only applies if you go on November 1 with 2 people in 1 room for 9 days.
The next day it is already about € 200 per person more expensive.
If you are single, it is already €785 on November 1 and even more expensive the following days.
At that time I usually fly from Brussels to BKK for around 400-425. The hotel costs almost nothing in early November.
No, for a couple who don't feel like putting together their own trip and want to leave exactly on November 1, this can be a nice offer, but not for those traveling alone.

My mother always said: "It has to come from the length or from the width". What she meant by that says enough.
Of course there is a catch here. KLM does not give away bargains and Hua Hin is known as an expensive holiday resort. Also among the Thais. Furthermore, no one gives away the winnings, not even Cor and Don.
Hua Hin indeed does not have a vibrant nightlife. Countless Pattaya goers who have tried Hua Hin once were deeply disappointed.
We have known it for 40 years and will be there again in mid-July to meet family, precisely because the “subdued” atmosphere is so appealing.

Not quite right. A travel organization such as Corendon can purchase seats from KLM and hotel rooms in Hua Hin at completely different prices than consumers because they bring volume. Those snakes might be little earthworms.

I know that you can also book a separate return ticket on other Corendon trips. Does that also apply to Thailand? And what is the price and the price with a large suitcase?

  10. René Martin says up

In itself it is good that there are more travel organizations that offer trips to Thailand, which may lead to lower prices.

  11. that's it says up

@roja: that only applies to those flights that they do THEMSELVES with their own planes, and that will not work for BKK. And coincidentally I recently checked that for Spain/Portugal, and that was much more expensive than eg RYAN or sometimes even TUI(=exArke). It is clearly stated in the story that they apparently have a contract with KLM, although it will not surprise me if others - think those Gulfies - soon join. So if you want that little money, it's just like a long time ago with what was then called camping flight: you just forget to enter that hotel. Cor&Don are very good buyers and now know quite well where cheap airplane seats can be found.
If it were possible: you've noticed for a long time that prices depend very, very strongly on the season and how long you stay away?

How about just hiring a travel agency that arranges it all for you?
My experience: almost always the cheapest price and search time on the internet: 0 minutes.

Nice offer from Corendon, but can you also book a flight Hua – Amsterdam return?
Whether or not with a Hotel in, for example, Amsterdam or The Hague?
    Barry.
