An impressive short documentary has been made of the 11th consecutive commemoration by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Dutch community in Thailand, at the war cemeteries in Kanchanaburi on August 15, 2019.
The organizers hope to meet you and your family, friends, acquaintances and relations next year on August 15 in Kanchanaburi at the commemoration in 2020, 75 years after the liberation in Asia, as the continued interest of the Dutch community in that, also in Asia, hard-won freedom.

Been there a few times already.
But never at the commemoration of death on 15-08
I want to go there next year.
Fortunately, my father survived, but my sister-in-law's father did not.
Is there buried.
Been in 2 camps from 1942 -1949 when my father was captured and we, my mother and the family were scattered in different camps.
Very impressive. Will definitely attend next year.
Thank you for this impressive impression.
