New beautiful sandy beach Pattaya almost ready
At the end of November I spent ten days in Pattaya in the Blue Sky hotel halfway through soi 5. Very quiet and a clean, spacious room as well as the balcony, but without much of a view. But all expected comfort was present. This for the price of 1.360 Baht, without breakfast.
Breakfast was available for 99 Baht. However, if you travel alone and you book a room with breakfast, you will usually (read always) be charged 2 times breakfast. I had therefore booked this hotel without breakfast through Agoda.
With the numerous available songtaeows, Pattaya center or Naklua is easily accessible: it is rather the exception that you have to wait longer than 30 seconds for transport. Where else can you find that?
But what a wonderful and quiet beach: of the forty available beach beds (yes, no seats) the manageress, a pity for her and her neighbors, only rented out 5 daily. And now it is a bit of a walk to the sea, I estimate more than thirty meters, because now there is really a beach worthy of the name.
Every day a tractor with a trailer is at work, which, via a rotating squeegee, at the front of the trailer, removes all the dirt on the waterline into a container.
The lessors of beach chairs or beach beds must themselves remove waste and also leaves in the vicinity of their plot. They use a kind of broom handle with a long metal pick on which they can easily collect thirty leaves.

Beautiful beach, thanks for sharing.
But it's best to talk to that lady who picks up sand about this. Sand that has been sprayed with so much effort and expense should not just be taken away again, for whatever purpose. Even if the bag is still so small!
Sorry, but I have no authority to address her about this, as I do not have that authority for the massive traffic violations that you and I can observe on a daily basis.
We are guests as tourists or residents and we do our best to keep aloof in this regard.
For half of the accommodation amount you mentioned, I offer you a 48m2 large condo without breakfast but with a large beach at 50 meters on Jomtien Dongtan Beach. Breakfast, lunch and dinner at or on the beach. [email protected]
And that in a very quiet area where you can be in Pattaya in a short time for 10 Baht with a SONGTHAUW. photos on request.
Raising the beach in Pattaya again and again is, in my opinion, a prayer without end. If you look at photos from the 1970s, the beach was much wider (Beach Rd had not yet been built) and also much less steep. It is precisely the steepness of today that washes away the sand
