To Chiang Mai and 2 weeks of traveling to Pai, Chiang Rai and Lampang, what is the situation like now?
Dear readers,
We are going to Chiang Mai next Tuesday and then we want to travel around for 2 weeks to Pai, Chiang Rai and Lampang. How is it there now with regard to rainfall, can you visit these places well and are the roads passable?
It is difficult to find this current information.
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Chris

Hi Chris, just go. I've just been there, of course not everywhere. In Chiang Mai I saw no special features. In Chiang Rai it was tough on the banks of Mae Kok, but there too everything can be visited and the Mae Kok is perhaps at a slightly higher level. Mae Sariang no special features.
Have a nice holiday. Leo
In Chiang Rai province there are no restrictions anymore, not even on the route to/from Chiang Mai and Lampang. The rivers here are already five meters below the highest level.
