Home » Reader question » Reader question: Swimming pool for swimming laps in Prachin Buri
Dear readers,
Does anyone know a swimming pool where I can swim laps 3 to 4 times a week? Near Nakyon Nayuk, Prachin Buri.
And also a call to people who stay near Prachin Buri and want to play a game of snooker. I've found the perfect snooker hall.
Regards,
Manolito

Dear,
I speak from experience and know that in many hotels you can go swimming as an outsider for a fee of 100 Thb. Prices from last year. This year has not been necessary because I always had a hotel WITH swimming pool.
You will receive a towel for that, so you should not bring it with you and you can swim unlimited until closing time.
LOTS OF SWIMMING FUN.
Forest Home Resort.
Just google it and you will also see pictures of what you can expect.
Here you can swim beautiful laps and it is very quiet, beautiful surroundings.
Not far from Royal Hills golf course and Khun Dan Prakarn Chon dam.
Also on the grounds of Royal Hills golf club is a swimming pool. 80 baht.
Dear Manolito,
I live on the border of Nakhon Nayok and Prachin Buri. Near the famous fruit market Nong Cha Ohm.
There are 3 options for swimming laps. I've been doing this for many years.
Usually I go to the V-Pool in Ban Na. It is about 20 km from my house. If you live in the center of Prachin it is 30 km. 70 baht. Open all day.
Then there is the military swimming pool between Nakhon and Ban Na. On the grounds of the Preparatory School for the Military academy. Only in the afternoon after two. 30 baht. Large swimming pool (50 m).
Finally, but I only discovered it recently, a swimming pool on a military site in Prachin itself.
Near the roundabout in Prachin on the way from Nakhon to Kabin Buri. Also for only 30 baht. I've been there recently but closed at the time due to the holidays.
As for your 2nd topic, 'snooker. Yes, I'm interested in that too. Although I can't play the game well, because I'm an ordinary billiard player. Caroms and 3 cushions.
If you want to contact me, my email address is known to the editors of thailandblog.
Jacobus, those swimming pools at Ban Na are a bit too far for me to drive from Si Maha Phot. But that last one you're talking about. I find on google maps 2 military bases just north of the train station in Prachinburi. Do you mean that one?
And can you just drive onto a military site?
Indeed north of the station. And yes, if you tell the soldiers on duty that you are coming for the swimming pool, they will let you through.
Most army pools are also available to the local population.
Whenever I am in Prachinburi I stay near Sri Maha Phot. Occasionally we go to the Tawaravadee Resort. 100 Baht plus towel. There is a reduced rate for children.
Beautiful surroundings by the way and very quiet. Can imagine that guests of the resort do not like it when some Thai children take over the pool.
I'm going to look at those locations of Jacobus on google maps.
