How many coffee or Nespresso capsules can I bring or send to Thailand? The capsules weigh next to nothing but have a lot of volume.

nowadays you can buy the capsules next to Big C on Thep prasit road .
There is a home decoration shop there and he also sells coffee machines from the Dolce brand.
A bit pricey but maybe it's gone down.

Bye Paul. So you're just as much of a Nespresso enthusiast as I am. You can take as much as you want in your luggage, I figured this out at the time. Sending it is (financially) not wise because I think 100% import duty is levied on it. This is also the reason that the capsules in Thailand are so expensive, about 1 Euro each.
I think just bring your own.
The price of Nespresso cups are not as expensive as you think. THB 20 (55 euro cents)
You can also buy from HDS in Chiang Mai. 180 baht for 10 capsules.

When I came here 2 years ago I sent a box with 2000 capsules. Had no problems, but then I didn't know that you can order them online here at Nespresso.
I always take about 800 capsules of dolce gusta with me in my suitcase. Never had a comment about it.
Why would you bring that? is available in Thailand.

No idea, but not really necessary. You can just buy them here, as well as non-nespresso capsules that just fit in the machine.

I myself brought 3,5 kilos of licorice to Thailand (in December 2019) and it was no problem. On the way back I took 12 liters of real massage oil with me - If you can take enough weight on the plane (I was allowed to take 30 kg of luggage) that was no problem - just take less clothes with you on vacation then you have a lot of space left - You must leave everything in the original packaging and it would be useful if you tape the boxes together so that it forms a solid "block" and cannot slide) possibly also pack it in a transparent plastic bag (pendal bin bag) against possible damage. leaks - remember to put it between the clothes so that the clothes can serve as a “'bumper”.

I did the same every year for my Nespresso machine, but dragged cups from a different brand that from the Hema. But at Hema they also sell an app. To fill your capsules myself I rinse them clean and I use the coffee grounds for the plants or for scaling.
