Does a Ring camera doorbell work in Thailand?

Dear readers,

I want to install a ring doorbell and cameras in my house in Thailand. With an adapter for the right plug it should be possible to connect the cameras to power. Adapter is 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 0,5 A. I do the doorbell on battery.

Does anyone have experience with whether it works to view the images via local WiFi here in the Netherlands?

Regards,

Leslie

We have WiFi cameras hanging on solar panels.
Have been hanging for more than 1 year now and work perfectly, battery always 100%.

Reolink doorbell is good, you can also buy it with battery
And does not require a subscription for recording and playback.

I own a photo shop and sell security cameras
    For these kinds of purposes.

No idea how that doorbell works, but the voltage is the same as the Netherlands, so that should be possible.
You may experience geoblocking issues in Thailand, some equipment may not work outside the EU.

I have Tapo cameras all around, which I can view via the Tapo app.
Those cameras are connected to www via the wifi router.
When I open the app I can view these images anywhere in the world via www.
Only if the power goes out again in Thailand this is not possible, but they reset themselves afterwards.
That doorbell will probably work the same.

I have been using a Google Nest video doorbell for a few years now. This is of course connected to the internet via WiFi. I regularly speak to the caller on screen and that works fine everywhere in the world and therefore also in Thailand.
Whether that works with the Ring doorbell I have no experience with. According to their documentation, if connected to the internet, it should work just fine.
