Reader question: Condo in Pattaya wanted for a year
Dear readers,
At the end of August I will go to Pattaya for 4 weeks, in January I want to go for 8 months. I would like to rent an apartment for a year, if I like it I will stay there for a longer period of time. The problem is, I don't know where to start looking.
I prefer to be near Pattaya Klang in Soi 10, 12, 14, 16 nearby. Kitchen is a must as I like to cook myself. Maximum 15.000 Baht per month in or excluding water and electricity.
Preferably no noisy bars in the area.
- With kitchen.
- Parking for motorbike.
- Air conditioning.
- Safe in the room.
- Toilet with water hose!
- Hot water in the shower!
- If possible room on the first floor.
- Large bed.
- Swimming pool is allowed, but not necessary.
Any info is welcome, thank you all in advance.
Willy
Have a look up http://www.fazwaz.com
Plenty of choice.
Dear Willy,
Proposal:
Beach front studio in Jomtien, on Bahtbus route. Kitchen, parking, air conditioning, safe, 2nd floor (elevator), balcony, large bed, large swimming pool… quiet location, close to everything. Rent for a month (12,800Baht/Month) at the end of August/September and decide after your stay for the following year.
More info: [email protected]
Ahoi Willy, 1 piece of advice: NEVER rent on the first floor! Due to flying vermin. You are “eaten” by the mosquitoes. (And street noise). When renting, this is always indicated as “HIgh Floor” or 12th floor or higher. Furthermore, I think your budget (for something decent, but that's personal) is too low. On an annual basis you should quickly think of Thb 20.000 / month. Please email me for more information and I can help you on site. ([email protected]). Good luck Ad.
Hello Willy,
I think I can help you with a nice condo in Pattaya within walking distance of Big C Extra.
The prices are 8000 or 10.000 baht per month with a one-year contract.
If you are interested, we can meet in August.
Best regards,
Josh.
William, maybe you already knew, but in general in Thailand the ground floor is referred to as the 1st floor.
In Chateau Dale,,,Has everything you wish and are looking forIt is 10 minutes to the sea in Jomtien
Approximately between 20.000 and 30.000 THB per month (the Bath is currently 39 for 1 Euro)

Hi Willy,
I rent out various condos, both studios (25m2) and 1 bedroom (37m2) in newly completed resorts.
All these condos are fully (newly) furnished. Your advantages are also present, including the swimming pool.
Both locations are very quietly located within walking distance of various entertainment venues.
Location Pratumnak 6th floor 37m2 and Jomtien 1st floor (not bothered by the previously reported insects), directly at the pool or 3rd floor both 25m2.
Price depends on surface and location, but certainly close to what you want to spend.
