Dear readers,

On May 4th I arrive in BKK at 13.40 with EVA Air. The trip goes to Surin where I would like to go by bus (too much luggage to take for a flight).

Normally I choose to travel with NCA. But there is a bus on Mochit at 14.25:20.25 PM and I can't catch it. The next one is only at 02.25 pm, which means that I will be in Surin around XNUMX am the next day.

Does anyone know of another possibility to take a bus to Mochit so that I arrive in Surin at a somewhat human hour,

Thanks for that.

Regards,

Rob

Hop all your luggage in a taxi and drive to Surin.
Don't forget to negotiate the price and you will be dropped off at the door if all is well.
If you go by bus with your suitcases, it is still dragging with the kilos.

    Well rob..
In your case I would think about taking a hotel near mochit for just 1 night…

Thanks to all for the interest, but nowhere is there an offer of another possibility to take another company. I want to go to Surin the same day.

        Well Rob or Ron???

Take a taxi, you will arrive at Suvarnabhumi with Eva air and not at Morchit bus station, because you want to travel from there???
Took a taxi from Suvarnabhumi to Khon kaen at Christmas 3000 baht (at Christmas) everything more expensive tickets airplayn and buses FULL well and put in front of the door what more could you want??
        Or dragging your bags??

Why too much luggage for a flight?

If it can be done with EVA, then it can also be used with the Thai companies. Only you have to pay a few hundred Baht for most of them. Wouldn't make a fuss about that and just put it on the plane.

Another option already mentioned is taxi. But then you also spend a few hours in the car and that will probably also cost you a few thousand baht. Hotel and bus the next day too.

Other option. Let your wife fly to Bangkok, take a night in a hotel together and fly back the next day, divide the luggage between the two of you. I think you have more fun with that than a taxi or bus ride 🙂

NCA is indeed the best bus company. Normally there are no buses that leave in the afternoon. Alternatively you can take the train in Don Muang (opposite the airport, next to Amari hotel). There is a train at 16.09:00.30 arriving in Surin at 2:499. Rapid train, 12nd class with air conditioning or fan. Rate XNUMX bath. Book at XNUMXgo.asia.
There is a shuttle bus from Suvarnabhumi to Don Muang (travel time about 1 hour)

Hello, there is indeed a shuttle bus to Don Muang, but then you also have to fly from Don Muang so you can show a tocket. You will not be allowed without a ticket, even if you offer to pay. You might be lucky, but if not, it's under another option.

Option is to go to the transportation hub, there is a shuttle bus that stops there
by the big blue signs. At the transportation Hub, take the red bus 555 or 554 that stops right in front of rsatini rotvi Don Muang. I've done it a few times and it works perfectly. Conductor warns in advance when this stop is coming. Bus stops right in front of the entrance. The ticket counter is to the left on the middle platform at the very end. Have fun

I had this problem too. My solution was to fly with China Airlines. You arrive early in the morning, and plenty of time and choice of departure times Mochit-Surin with NCA.

According to rome2rio, there are two bus companies that run this route, one every four hours, the other five times a day.
See link. Perhaps you can do some further puzzling yourself.

Victoria Monument, minibuses go everywhere, very cheap, HuaHin is eg 180 pp BTS Victoria Monument.
Only with a lot of luggage you have to buy an extra ticket, still cheap I think.
