Want to have a Vespa exported from Thailand to the Netherlands?

Dear readers,

I am currently studying in Bangkok and I have noticed that the prices of Vespas here are many times lower than in the Netherlands, which is why I would like to have one exported to the Netherlands.

I wonder what I would have to pay just for transport and import costs? However, I do not intend to have it registered in the Netherlands.

thanks in advance

Regards,

Noud

Well, on license plate or not, when imported into the Netherlands from a non-EU country, you pay import duty and then VAT (value plus transport costs plus insurance plus import duty). NL Customs has a site where you can find information. In addition, there are the costs for the formalities at the border.

A removal goods exemption may apply to import duty; Consult the tax authorities' website for the conditions.

You can ask for transport costs (by sea) from an international mover, also in the Netherlands. Try Windmill Forwarding.

NB! 80 percent is a fake Chinese. The dealer won't tell you that.
