In 1996 my Thai wife Tuk came to live and work in the Netherlands. We were already vaguely talking about eventually living in Thailand and possibly building a house there. In 2010 we got married in the traditional Thai-Cambodian way in Tuk's native village. From that moment on we started thinking more concretely about settling in Thailand.
