We will soon be going back to Chiang Mai and everyone knows the famous Sunday and Saturday market, but there are also regular weekly markets where clothing, bags, cosmetics, etc. are sold.

Hello everyone and specially those who live in Hua Hin, is there anyone who has already received an M form from the Dutch tax authorities? Mail delivery in Hua Hin is abysmal I don't know if that is also the case in other places in Thailand, but sometimes I have to go to the post office a few times to ask where my mail is and then after a long search I sometimes manage to find a mail item for to dive me.

Last week I did volunteer work in an orphanage, what an impressive and intense week that was! In the orphanage there are about 275 children with ages between 4 and 16. The orphanage is quite small and the facilities are minimal.

My wife and I have been living in Pattaya for several years and have finally been able to sell our house in the Netherlands. We cannot be present at the transfer ourselves and must therefore authorize the notary, who handles this in its entirety, for that transfer. To issue this authorization, our signatures must be legalized by an authorized person. According to that civil-law notary, this can only be done at the Dutch embassy or at a consulate of the Netherlands and therefore NOT at the Consulate of Austria or Germany.
