Ekkemai) to the river. This weekend a dam wall of a canal on the Chao Praya river broke, causing soi Sukhumvit 50 to be flooded by 40 cm at the deepest part until yesterday evening (but passable). Today all streets are bone dry again and it seems that the worst of the damage has been done. The 7/11 shops are less well supplied than usual, but the Tesco Lotus and the BIG C (Sukhumvit, On NUT rd and Rama4) sell everything a person thinks they need.
