Thai music video 100 million views
A music video of Thai country singer Ying Lee Sijumpol's song "Kau Jai Tur Lak Bur Toh" (My heart for your phone number) has racked up 14 million views on YouTube in the past 100 months.
The song was put on YouTube by the publisher on January 23 and on April 7 it passed the magical limit of 100 million views. The singer from Buri Ram is also surprised by the success on social media.
Unfortunately for Ying Lee, her hit song is not the most viewed music clip in Thailand. This record is in the name of the song: Gai Kae Nai Keu Glai (How Far is Near?) by the Getsunova band. this video clip has 105,6 million views as of its upload date on August 23, 2012.

When I played the video, someone started dancing passionately right next to me…. nice. I hadn't heard it yet, at least not consciously. But quickly on youtube and I'm downloading now.
Gai Kae Nai Keu Glai is also downloaded. I had heard this one many times before.
At our house sometimes the radio plays all day long and often it is such beautiful melodic music. I used to buy Thai pop music more often and together with my collection of music from around the world it is a pleasure to work in the garden with the music of my ipod in the background. Brazilian, Dutch, English, German, Japanese, Thai, Indonesian, Indian, Arabic music alternate. There is always a piece of music that sounds fantastic and that I have rarely, if ever, heard.
Thank you for this contribution…. it enriches the day!
Nice! Just like with Sjaak, my wife can't sit still with this song (or with other Ying songs). At recent birthdays, parties, etc., this song has/has become a permanent fixture and the ladies go wild. We are going to Thailand again in September and I am sure we will take a few music (karaoke) DVDs with us.
There are not many Thai hits that appeal to me, but if this is such a hit, I had to take a look.
Nice, but my love for Thai music has really not grown any bigger.
What struck me is that according to Utube it has been on display since September 17, 2013 and that it has (currently) been viewed 334.163 times. Those are different figures than the Bangkok Post publishes!
Dear Gringo, those numbers are correct. There may be 100 such videos on YouTube. This does not have to be the original upload.
Ok, sorry for my suspicious interpretation.
To make up for it, here's my current favorite Thai video clip, with 87 million clicks.

The original version now stands at over 100.600.000.
What you have seen/watched is the version with English subtitles.
Tiresome song say, meaningless whining those modern Thai songs. The old songs are a lot better, here's an example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mRs-uYL6rI&index=61&list=FLTe0mZkKn9sTk5qjo4iUnHQ
