Thunderstorm in Chiang Mai (video)
You have thunderstorms and thunderstorms. This is evident from this video by Tim Durkan.
While traveling through Thailand in January of 2013, he filmed this thunderstorm along the river in Chiang Mai with his Nikon D4.
“The staff of the restaurant 'Deck 1' had let everyone in when the rain started. I just went outside then. At one point it got so intense that I had to go inside too,” he says on YouTube.
“It was memorable evening in Chiang Mai and fun too! The video was also picked up by CNN iReport, very cool!”
