Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra is concerned about the situation at Don Mueang and Lak Si. A breach in the dike allowed the water from the Klong Prapa to flood the area near Don Mueang and Lak Si.

The Prime Minister assured that the tap water is still safe. The water in Klong Prapa is used to produce tap water. Yingluck denied the rumor that due to the flooding, the Relief Operations Center (Froc) will be relocated to eastern Chonburi province. The crisis center is now located at Don Mueang airport and has been affected by the floods.

The water level in Klong Prapa has dropped slightly today. The flood water level on Chaengwattana Road has receded, but the affected area has spread to Mongkutwattana Hospital. Songprapa Road in Don Mueang is still flooded.

  1. nok says up

The Avenue Chaengwatthana there is half a meter of water on the road so chances are they won't keep it dry there. The mall Central Chaeng watthana has a large basement, I hope it stays dry for them.

Foodland Laksi is also not really high above the road, so I fear the worst.

The water purification is also under water but seems to still work.
