Those who are currently staying in Thailand will have noticed it is chilly in Thailand. In hua Han it did not get warmer than 25 degrees yesterday. Cooler weather is forecast for northern, northeast, central and eastern Thailand through December 5, with temperatures expected to drop by 3-5°C.

The Meteorological Department says a strong high-pressure system from China is to blame. This creates cool to cold weather with a strong wind.

Temperatures in the northeast, north, center and east can drop by up to 5°C, with the highest temperature drop of 3-12°C in the mountains in the north and northeast.

The meteorologists advise the public in the north to dress warmer and keep an eye on health.

Let it come slowly, the long trousers - long-sleeved T-shirt - sweater - socks - winter pajamas and down blanket are already ready. Last night it was already 17.4 degrees outside, 22 degrees in the house, rising to 27, so that's still possible. Greetings from Huay Sai (23 km from Chiang Mai)

Hello, Ellis, it was still quite warm today here in Thoen, Lampang. I lived in Chiang Rai for two years and it was wonderful in the winter.

Since the day before yesterday in Pattaya (after 2 nights in Bangkok). The first time I was really cold in Thailand. A strange sensation. Air conditioning stays off at night.

Here in Si Sa Ket it is now 18 degrees. Ice cold according to the Thai. Here in the village (Phayu) everyone walks around with thick coats and snow hats and small fires everywhere they sit around. This Falang is stared at strangely, shuffling on his flip-flops and only TShirt
