Miss Universe Thailand (in tears) surrenders crown
Weluree 'Fai' Ditsayabut, crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2014 last month, has returned her title. She can no longer withstand the criticism that has been poured over her.
“My family was happy for me when I was crowned. But since the criticism, that feeling has disappeared," Fai said at a press conference. She said she came to the decision on her own and thanked the jurors who chose her, her parents, friends and those who took care of her. "I also want to thank the people who commented on me through the media, both good and bad comments."
Fai's election was already controversial on the final night. When she was crowned, booed from the audience and "Ellie, Ellie" and "Keep on fighting Ellie," the name of the first runner-up.
On May 19, Fai apologized for what she wrote on Facebook about the red shirts in November. She had accused them of being anti-monarchy: 'The country would be cleaner without them.'
But she got more mud on her. She was said to be too fat compared to Ellie and received comments such as 'monitor lizard' and 'fat animal'.
Internet users posted edited photos of her on the net and suddenly a funeral wreath was placed near the hall where she was crowned. It all became too much for Fai and her mother. Mother couldn't even sleep because of it.
The jury does not yet know who will replace Fai as Miss Universe Thailand. She's going to talk to each candidate about that.

look at that for the good comments thanks I understand that, but if you are also going to thank the people who have called you rotten fish, or like 'monitor lizard' and 'fat animal'.

@ Farang tingtong Thanking the people who called her rotten fish is a subtle act of revenge. I went through something similar with my girlfriend. We walked past a karaoke bar, where some girls were sitting. One of them had insulted my girlfriend earlier on the way there. Just loud enough for her to hear. On the way back my friend gave her 100 baht while the other girls watched. The girl must have been ashamed. Jan Ligthart, the old education pedagogue, calls this the orange method. I would like to explain that in a separate email.
Could this be the real Buddhism, no hate just love then you can conquer all.

I went surfing for a while (on the internet that is) in response to your response in which you spoke about Jan Ligthart, that name is nothing to me, except that you have the Jan Ligthart street on R'dam south.
After reading about this man and his approach, I understand the reaction of the Miss, even more fun and better I liked the revenge of you and your girlfriend, great you made a fool of that girl, and all thanks to Jan, I would wish I used to have him as a schoolmaster.

If you are chosen thanks to your very wealthy influential family, where your past also appears to be not entirely of impeccable behavior, smoking mind-expanding substances such as shisha shown on social cam, Facebook and a number of bold statements etc AND then still be chosen as Miss Thailand . THAT SMELLS LIKE A SCANDAL.
Number two was and is much more beautiful, has more length and DOES have a pair of handsome legs, which the so-called number ONE did not have, I call that " stable legs ".
Rightly so that Miss "Thailand for a month" has returned her title and all other things, with many tears. I wish the real number one good luck.
