The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs has posted a video on YouTube to promote our country to Thai entrepreneurs in just over two minutes.

The video shows what we Dutch people excel at, such as the education system with top universities, our command of the English language and our business instinct. The video also shows that there are similarities between Thailand and the Netherlands, where the colors of our national flags and the fight against water are the most striking. The historical ties with Thailand and tourism are also discussed.

The purpose of the video is to promote the Netherlands as a trading country. The Dutch like to do business with Thai entrepreneurs. This ultimately results in a real 'Dutch smile'.

In June, the EU countries were going to freeze all relations until there was a democratic government in Thaland, people will soon come back to that, which is fine by the way. The merchant always beats the pastor, will happen again soon with Russia, hear when the tomatoes and peppers come out of the nose here and the gas runs out.

The best part of this video I thought was that Holland has the best tax system in the world, for foreign investors.
That is certainly correct, I read in the newspaper last week, just to mention as an example, that many well-known foreign artists, for example in the Netherlands, through a letterbox.
Being able to avoid or circumvent the tax contribution in their own country or whatever you want to call it.
And partly because of this, we can save millions.
Unfortunately for the ordinary hardworking average Dutchman, our country does not have the best tax system in the world.
Partly for this reason, many want to leave here as soon as possible and emigrate to places such as Thailand.
    Where it is better financially.
It would be good if the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand would also make a video like this, to encourage more Dutch people to spend their hard and hard-earned money in the Netherlands later in Thailand.
Especially as a target group the elderly around their sixties .

    Jan Beute.
