A Hong Kong tourist posted a video on social media showing a tuk-tuk driver signaling a motorbike driver to steal his passenger's bag in the three-wheeled vehicle.

The tourist thinks the tuk-tuk driver is part of the plan to steal his bag. The video shows the tuk-tuk driver making a hand gesture before the bag was snatched. The victim said his bag contained 13.000 baht, 1.000 Hong Kong dollars, his passport and other documents.

Atchayon Kraithong, deputy chief of the tourist police, said the number plate of the motorbike is clearly visible in the video. He expects to be able to track down the thief and the tuk-tuk driver quickly.
