The South of Thailand is experiencing severe weather. The same goes for other parts of the country, including Bangkok. The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) has also warned of heavy rain showers yesterday.

A low pressure area remains active near Phuket in the Andaman Sea. Residents should be alert, especially those living near mountains in Phuket, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Surat Thani, Krabi and Phangnga. Boats have to stay in the harbor because of high waves.

The East, the Central Plains and Bangkok will experience heavy rain showers and storms that last a full day. But on May 2, the situation improves.

In Pattaya, too, the water was high in the streets in a number of places.
A few windsurfers made good use of this by going ON the Beach Road
go windsurfing! Not entirely without risk, but it was all about the “fun!”

Boats must stay in port? Everything just goes out, which is a good thing, because the weather is very calm.
