Royal Thai Police buys a luxury private jet
The Royal Thai Police has bought a Dassault Falcon 2000S for 1,1 billion baht. The French aircraft is very popular with the super rich on this earth because of its reliability and luxury design.
Spokesperson Piya denies rumors that the device was purchased to please Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Prawit. According to him, a small aircraft is needed to land on short runways when urgent police work is needed. According to Piya, there is nothing special about the aircraft and it is equipped with the necessary facilities.
Prawit and an entourage reportedly flew the plane to Lop Buri on June 27, where he returned land title deeds to villagers who had lost them through taking out loans from loan sharks.

Below is an example of the Falcon 2000 (not the purchased device):
If it is necessary for necessary police work, then there is also a blue flashing light on it I assume? It will also be necessary to ensure that police work runs smoothly.
The bigger the country, the bigger the jet of course. Equatorial Guinea has a Boeing 777-200LR. Will also be much needed…. (how many million development aid has been spent on this?)
Childish criticism.
He is no longer allowed to wear his beautiful watches and now
again whining about a plane.
He can hardly go on a bike 🙂
it's the same everywhere!
when they get to the top they sit with their fingers in the coffers and buy luxury things on the hood of the oppressed workers….
The Netherlands and Belgium can't escape that either and you don't hear anything else anywhere in the world. Netanyaou in Israel is also suspected of corruption.
at the top they all lick and are already rich but never have enough!
The police already has a fleet of 71 helicopters and planes to fly from A to B. So that it was an easy landing is crazy. Perhaps the upholstery of the existing fleet was not attractive enough for the Deputy Prime Minister General? Yes, such an expensive toy is well worth the money.

And then Mr. Srisuwan Janya has also established that the 1.1 billion baht is 310 million baht more expensive than the officially stated price.

Yes hello, it also had to be filled up,
because it was delivered with an empty tank. 🙂
I consider myself a critical democrat. I think it is very cheap and very easy to denigrate the purchase of this aircraft. That does not alter the fact that the purchase raises questions, but to come up with judgments from the left right now, that does not make this political direction more popular with me.
The army alone has nearly 300 helicopters (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Thai_Army_Aviation_Center) where it must be said that a large number are more than 50 years old. A few have already fallen from the sky in recent years. So replacement can't hurt, I think, if you agree with defense policy, just like the buses in Bangkok that still have wooden floors.
Oh yes, buying things above the price….Can we remember when the red Yingluck government bought the rice far above the market price and then only sold the rice to the paving stones for very low prices? The costs of this mismanagement were many times greater than the costs of this aircraft.
Once again throwing away a lot of money on pointless luxury toys.
Couldn't the money have been better spent equipping the street cop or local police force with speed detector equipment for speeding or mobile equipment to take soot measurements of exhaust fumes along the road.
Police force equipped with good communication equipment including camera
A better training of the entire Thai police force so that they can arrest traffic offenses at the scene of the offense instead of the boring standard and stupid one I experienced again the day before yesterday, may I see your driving license question.
Jan Beute.
