NL Embassy: Adjusted opening hours for the consular department
The Dutch embassy in Bangkok announces on its website that the consular department will have limited access from October 19, 2015 to October 30, 2015.
Due to maintenance work, the consular section will have limited access from Monday 19 October 2015 to 30 October 2015.
If it is necessary that you still have to come to the consular section for a passport application, declaration or something else during this period, please take longer waiting times into account. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience.
Furthermore, as of 2 November 2015, the consular section will have changed opening hours. The consular section will be open to the public from November 2, 2015 for all kinds of consular operations from Monday – Friday from 8:30 am to 11:00 am and Thursday afternoon from 13:30 pm to 15:00 pm. On October 23, 2015, the embassy will be closed for a national holiday.
Why is the consular section not opened in the afternoon hours instead of the morning hours. Many people come from far and wide and then it is much nicer for them to be able to do business on the day itself.
